| The Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band, established in 1980,
is the oldest pipe band in Austin,
Texas. The band performs at a
number of events for the Central Texas community, as well as attending
highland games and other pipe band events and competitions.
Individual musicians, ensembles, or the band as a whole are also available for weddings or other private functions. The band consists of pipers (bagpipes) and
drummers (snare (or
"side"), tenor and bass drum), and gives You can choose the section of our site to visit from the menu at the
top of the page.
