Highland Drumming 101! An introduction to Scottish Drumming techniques

Drummers are an integral part of Scottish Music. The most common drums are the side drum (snare), tenor, and bass drum.

Join us for an introductory night to listen, play and learn about Scottish Music, specifically techniques including:

- grips & sticks

- Rolls

- Rudiments

- Expression

- Fortes

- Notation

This 2 hour introductory class is perfect for any age or skill level. No equipment is required for the class, but if you do own a marching snare, tom, or bass drum, then we encourage you to bring it. The class will be led by our drum seargent and professional drummer Dylan.

The cost of the class is $30 or FREE with your annual membership to our group, which includes many other perks.
