The Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band, established in 1980,
is the oldest pipe band in Austin,
Texas. The band performs at
events throughout Central Texas.
Individual musicians, ensembles, or the whole band are available for weddings, funerals, banquets, parades, festivals, or any other private function. The band consists of bagpipers, and snare, tenor, & bass drummers. We offer group lessons for just $10, and private lessons upon request. The band rehearses every Monday evening at Austin First Presbyterian Church. Please select any of the sections above to find out more about the band.
